About Premium32

Premium32 started in a dorm room at Christopher Newport University with a closet cleanout and a few old hats.

What began as simply selling pieces I no longer wore quickly turned into an obsession with vintage headwear. I fell in love with finding old, beat-up hats that had been forgotten, cleaning and reshaping them, bringing them back to life, and ultimately finding someone new to appreciate them.

That process became the foundation of Premium32.

Giving Vintage a Second Life

Today, Premium32 is built around finding unique vintage hats and apparel from the ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s — especially the pieces you don't come across every day.

From vintage sports and racing hats to golf, collegiate, promotional, and obscure designs, every piece is individually sourced and selected. Some arrive ready to wear. Others need a little more work. Either way, there’s something special about taking a piece with decades of history and giving it another chapter.

Over the years, that dorm-room hobby has grown into a community of vintage collectors and enthusiasts across the country, with Hat Drop Wednesday becoming a Premium32 tradition — a fresh selection of handpicked vintage hats released every Wednesday.

Keep Vintage Alive

Trends come back around, but true vintage can't be recreated.

The fading, the stitching, the logos, the fit, and even the imperfections are part of what makes these pieces what they are. Once they're gone, they're gone.
